Encapsulation and Deployment of a Software-Defined Networking Experiment Environment Based on Docker
This paper addresses the current issues of complexity and low resource utilisation in the deployment of software-defined networking (SDN) experimental environments. It explores the potential application of Docker container technology in packaging and deploying these environments. By leveraging the lightweight, portable and isolated features of Docker, we propose a Docker-centric packaging and deployment framework for SDN experimental environments. This framework facilitates the rapid deployment of SDN experimental environments, thereby significantly improving resource utilisation and reusability. Furthermore, the paper provides a detailed account of the steps involved in the creation of Docker-based
