Numerous industries, including education, have seen tremendous change as a result of blockchain technology. With regard to the use of blockchain technology in education, this bibliometric study attempts to provide a comprehensive overview of the current state of research. This study takes a close look at the state of blockchain research in the field of education. The objective of this study project is to conduct a bibliometric analysis of the material that was produced between 2016 and 2024 on the topic of blockchain applications in education. The author's name, affiliations, country, publishing year, document type, language of publication, subject matter, and title of publication were among the criteria used to evaluate the published articles. To obtain insight into publication trends, these statistics were extracted from the SCOPUS database. Using a set of inclusion and exclusion criteria, a pool of 2298 papers was compiled to provide a final pool of 2168 relevant papers. Research indicates that there was an increase in publications concerning blockchain applications in the education sector between 2016 and 2024.Following an extensive assessment of several research projects in the fields of mathematics, engineering, computer science, social sciences, decision sciences, and so forth, this study came to the conclusion that the most progressive countries are the India, Chain and the United State.
