Adoption as a Population Stabilization Strategy in India: A Predictive Modeling Approach
Overpopulation, a pressing issue in India, is compounded by the nation's limited resources and has contributed to various socio-economic and environmental challenges. This study examines the relationship between population rates and adoption. It proposes that increasing adoption rates could be a viable solution to this issue. Using historical data and predictive modeling, the study examines fertility and forecasts population growth trends until 2050 and evaluates the potential of higher adoption rates to alleviate reliance on natural births and support sustainable development. The analysis incorporates a rich dataset of demographic factors, including adoption, births, and population, along with a sample of public viewpoints in India. This research contributes to the growing knowledge of adoption as a solution for population stability and machine learning-based counterfactual prediction.
