Design of maize disease monitoring system based on Beidou satellite positioning
As times change, increasing crop output and quality is a must for contemporary agricultural development. Under the background of global warming and variety changing, maize pests have been multiplying and evolving, and the occurrence rule of insect pests has been changing. The only method to guarantee a high production and quality of maize is to avoid and control insect pests, as their presence has a significant negative impact on these factors. Based on Beidou satellite positioning technology and several sensors, this research realized real-time monitoring and early warning of corn field environment, and marked the location of disease and analyzed the data, integrating the Beidou data with the agricultural management system, generating disease and pest distribution maps and optimizing spraying and treatment plans, thereby reducing the impact on the environment.
