Research on Digital Design of Ancient Building Beam and Plank Color Patterns Based on Style Transfer Algorithm

To inherit and enrich the creative transformation methods of ancient building beam and rafter colored paintings, and to promote digital preservation and innovative design to adapt to societal trends and public needs, this paper, based on in-depth research and analysis of the historical development and pattern characteristics of beam and rafter colored paintings, applies style transfer algorithms from AI technology to extract patterns and motifs, and conducts digital and stylistic derivative design. By refining and analyzing the structure, motifs, and colors of the colored paintings for style transformation, it designs spiral flower pattern motifs that are both aesthetically significant and representative, while enhancing creativity and visual effects. This study not only explores the path of inheritance and protection of digital design for beam and rafter-colored paintings but also, to some extent, increases the integration of technology and art, further promoting the dissemination and development of ancient building beam and rafter-colored paintings.
