Maximum Power Extraction Using Fuzzy Logic and Analysis of Power At Different Irradiance

Maximum power point tracking has been researched in order to optimize a solar system's energy output. Nonetheless, the fundamental adaptive tracking techniques that use a fixed step size include tracking speed maximum power point (MPPT), perturb and observe, and incremental conductance.Although the adaptive tracking algorithms using a variable step size can only improve the maximum power point tracking(MPPT) efficiency and dynamic response of these basic algorithms, but these algorithms still shows the oscillations at the maximum power point. Hence, this paper proposes an enhanced maximum power point tracking algorithm that shows fast dynamic response, low oscillations as well as high maximum power point tracking. So, the proposed algorithm in this paper can achieve higher maximum power point tracking efficiency, faster dynamic response, and lower oscillations rather than the basic and adaptive algorithms. Besides, it shows superiority in maximum power point tracking(MPPT) in this regard.
