Portable Healthcare Waste Disinfector and Disposer
Healthcare facilities and research institutes have a key role in managing medical waste to prevent the spread of disease and mitigate environmental pollution. A portable healthcare waste disinfector and disposer management system has been designed to treat the medical waste from healthcare sector. The incubated segregation unit in the system will manage to separate the pharmaceutical waste easily without the involvement of human beings. The machine's advanced features a shredder with high-strength blades that can handle particularly pharmaceutical waste generated includes syringe waste, IV bags and tubing, sharps waste, drugs container, pill bottles, blister pack, liquid medical container, ointment tubes, auto injectors, inhaler, nebulizer and non-hazardous waste to reduce environmental pollution. It operates at a speed of 50–100 rpm, with a capacity of 15kg and this system continuously shreds up to 15–20 minutes without interruption. The shredded waste is collected in a specialized hydrophobic container, where it is sterilized to neutralize microorganism, facilitating safe disposal and recycling. Moreover, the hydrophobic container will have disinfection units like UV light, chlorination through fog and generates heat to kill the bacteria and microorganisms. This system provides safe and eco-friendly approach to treat the medical waste management, reducing the risk of environmental contamination and health hazards. Since the population is increasing day by day, the waste generated in the hospital is getting increased and even the guidelines are provided for the hospital waste management it is not properly followed. To overcome this we initiated, Portable Healthcare waste disinfector and disposer system will provide the improved safety, high precision and enhanced efficiency, to make the healthcare sector and environmental sustainability more valuable assets. This system also follows the guidelines and standards provided by pollution control board reducing its impact on the environment.
