An Ecosystem Impact Model for Sea Lampreys Populations
The lamprey is an important bottom-dwelling fish species, and changes in its sex ratio may be related to environmental factors, genetic factors, and behavioral strategies. In this paper, we establish a differential equation for the population size and sex ratio of lampreys in relation to ecosystem resources based on relevant data; we improve upon the Lotka-Volterra equation model and introduce logistic functions to construct a differential equation that describes the relationship between the sex ratio of lampreys and environmental changes, and analyze the impact of changes in the sex ratio of lampreys on the ecological environment.
