Estimation of Body Weight and Design of a Real- Time Cow Health Monitoring System

Continuous monitoring of cattle health is very important for the modern livestock industry because it has an impact on livestock productivity and welfare. With advances in IoT technology, smart sensors, and artificial intelligence (AI), real-time monitoring enables early detection of diseases and weight estimation of cows without manual weighing. The developed web-based platform provides an interface for monitoring vital conditions such as temperature and heart rate, as well as cow behavior, which is analyzed using AI. Weight estimation is carried out using machine learning models such as XGBoost, Gradient Boosting, and Ensemble Voting Regressor, with the CNN method achieving up to 96.15% accuracy in weight prediction from cow images, offering an efficient and accurate solution for the livestock industry.
