TiO2/SnO2 electron transport layer by electron beam deposition for perovskite solar cell application
Abstract This study investigates the effect of post-annealing on the structural and electronic properties of TiO 2 /SnO 2 bilayer electron transport layers (b-ETLs) fabricated via electron beam (EB) deposition for perovskite solar cells (PSCs). While EB deposition provides precise film formation, the resulting films often lack crystallinity, limiting device performance. We investigated how annealing at various temperatures affects the crystallization, surface morphology, and charge transport properties of the b-ETLs, and how these changes enhance the overall performance of PSCs. Our findings provide insight into the optimization of b-ETLs for high-efficiency, stable PSCs.
