REFLEXÕES SOBRE A INTRINCADA RELAÇÃO ENTRE DIREITOS HUMANOS E INFÂNCIA: RETICÊNCIAS E PONTOS FINAIS DO DISCURSO JURÍDICO

This article, in the format of a theoretical essay, adopts as its main objective to weave some reflections on the relationship between Human Rights and childhood today. We seek to highlight, among other issues, the particular thesis that one of the obstacles to the non-fulfillment of the exercise of children's fundamental rights is the conception that other social actors hold about this segment. Thus, arguments are presented about the importance of adopting, indispensably, the perspective of child protagonism, otherness, social visibility; as well as, to construct paths of listening and effective participation of children in matters that concern them, so that the citizenship of children can actually be admitted and to practice. We conclude by reaffirming that for the rights relativid to children and childhood to come true, here is the belief in the ability of children to take ownership and assert their rights without disrespecting those of other members of society must be widely established. This is a movement that, we argue, should be part not only of the public policy agenda engendered by the State, but also of the daily action of all social actors in a systematic and organized way. This reality will not be achieved without through education.
