ASb3Mn9O19 (A = K or Rb): New Mn‐Based 2D Magnetoplumbites with Geometric and Magnetic Frustration (Adv. Mater. 10/2025)
Mn-Based 2D Magnetoplumbites In article number 2417906, Xin Gui and co-workers report the first Mn-based M-type hexaferrites, also known as magnetoplumbites. Mn3+ cations construct frustrated triangular, Kagome, and puckered honeycomb sublattices. Magnetic and heat capacity do not exhibit long-range magnetic order. Two-dimensional magnetic correlations and frustration within the Mn3+ Kagome layers are confirmed via the reverse Monte Carlo refinements on neutron powder diffraction patterns.
