Harnessing Lactobacillus reuteri ‐Derived Extracellular Vesicles for Multifaceted Cancer Treatment (Small 10/2025)
Cancer Treatments Extracellular vesicles derived from the probiotic Lactobacillus reuteri (REVs) exhibit remarkable antitumor efficacy through oral administration, leveraging their stability in the gastrointestinal environment and inherent therapeutic effects. When combined with photothermal therapy, REVs encapsulating photosensitizers effectively target and eradicate lung tumors, highlighting their potential as a versatile platform for standalone or combinational cancer treatments.
