An Improved High Step-Up Non-Isolated DC-DC Configuration with Low Voltage Stress on Devices, Suitable for Solar Energy Systems
This study proposes an improved topology for high step-up DC-DC converters. The proposed topology takes the advantage of high voltage boosting capability, low voltage stress on the switching devices, common ground availability, continuous source current and low ratio of device count to gain. The theoretical analysis as well as design considerations have been provided. Comparative analysis bolds the supremacy of proposed topology over its similar peers. Experimental results of the implemented 350 W prototype have also been presented, which confirm the correct operation of the proposed topology.
