Non-Isolated High Gain Capability DC-DC Converter Based on Impedance source Network with Low Voltage Stress
This study introduces a novel non-isolated DC-DC structure designed with an impedance network at its core. The innovative configuration integrates boost voltage cells and coupled inductors, complemented by additional auxiliary components, to deliver a broad voltage gain (VG) and enhanced performance characteristics. Key advantages of the proposed design include diminished voltage stress on passive components, a common ground connection, minimized input current ripple, continuous input current, high voltage gain, and improved efficiency, making it highly suitable for renewable energy systems. The paper provides a detailed analysis of the steady-state operation, discusses various operational modes, and compares results with alternative designs. Furthermore, the performance of the propounded design is verified through experimental testing employing a 200 W prototype developed in the laboratory.
