Identification of Factors that Influencing the New Product Development Time in Electric Vehicle (EV) Bus Manufacturers
In the bus manufacturing industry, it is essential to implement effective new product development (NPD) strategies in order to remain competitive in the swiftly expanding electric vehicle (EV) market. This article investigates the primary factors that influence the time required to produce electric buses, including technical advancements, supply chain efficiency, regulatory compliance, and market dynamics. This paper employs both qualitative and quantitative research methods to investigate the relationship between these elements and their impact on the NPD timeline. The results provide insight into potential strategies that producers could implement to enhance their time-to-market objectives, decrease lead times, and optimize their development processes.
