Revolutionizing Agriculture Empirical Impact of Intelligent Agri-Field Monitoring Systems Based on Internet of Things Association
The term “smart farming” refers to a new trend in agricultural technology that places an emphasis on the use of ICT in the form of sensors, machines, and other tools linked to high-tech farm surveillance cycles that are based on networks. We may expect new technology, the IoT, and cloud computing to spur expansion and usher in AI and robotics in agricultural settings. Such revolutionary departures not only pose many problems, but they are also disturbing established methods of farming. This study presents the Intelligent Agri-Field Monitoring System (IAFMS), an architectural framework that combines IoT with crop production. It employs several cloud-based strategies for crop monitoring. This proposed logic is cross-validated with the conventional Agriculture Field Monitoring System (AFMS) to evaluate the efficiency of the proposed model. To save the farmer time and effort, the suggested method analyses data received from sensors installed in crops in real-time and sends the results back to the farmer. This allows for better crop growth monitoring. In order to automate processes through the integration of IoT devices, the data that is gathered from the fields is saved and analyzed in the cloud. Reducing resource wasting in agriculture areas is one way the paper's proposal may boost crop output. Data on the field's temperature, soil moisture, humidity, and water use, as well as a study of the farmer's decision-making process, are presented in the experimental findings.
