Fatigue life prediction of helicopter reducer based on probabilistic fracture mechanics
Taking into full consideration the variations in stress levels, temperature, lubrication, and friction among various components of the reducer operating environment, this study analyzes the applicability of multiple simulation analysis methods. An operational simulation environment under multi-load field coupling of the reducer is established. Following the work sequence of condition analysis, material setting, contact algorithm and contact attribute determination, boundary condition application, and grid division, operational simulation analysis under multi-load field coupling is conducted. Based on the fatigue crack propagation and probabilistic fracture mechanics models, a reliability analysis model based on probabilistic fracture mechanics is established. The reliability assessment results are obtained, and conclusions are drawn.
