Experimental study on gas content of cattle manure ash concrete
During the mixing process of concrete, a small amount of air is mixed in, which is called induced air. Due to the presence of air, the compactness and strength of concrete decrease. Introducing 1% of air will reduce the compressive strength by 5%, and the decrease in flexural strength is about half of the decrease in compressive strength. The water demand is an important factor in determining the workability of concrete. The workability of concrete includes fluidity, cohesiveness, and water retention. The good workability of biomass ash concrete is the foundation for ensuring the construction quality of biomass ash concrete. In response to the problem of unclear workability of cattle manure ash concrete after being added to concrete, this paper studied the water demand and flowability of cattle manure ash concrete after being added to concrete, and compared its flowability with fly ash concrete. At the same time, the reasons affecting the flowability of cattle manure ash concrete were analyzed. The experimental conclusion provides a reference for studying the workability of cattle manure ash and for its application in concrete.
