A kisgyermeknevelés intézményi beágyazódásának nemzetközi irányvonalai és a kisgyermeknevelői professzió alakulásának útja

In Romania, the importance of preparing teachers for nursery education has increased, both through the extension of the early childhood education curriculum to the nursery education segment and through the embedding of nursery education in the educational system. All these changes also imply the launching of a nursery teacher training at higher education level as well. In this context, it is particularly actual and important to examine the practices of other countries in this area. The study undertakes a comparative analysis of the international characteristics of early childhood education, mainly along the lines of sectoral classification. Another strand of analysis looks at the pathways to becoming a nursery teacher. The results show that in Romania, as in many other European countries, nursery education is an initial stage in the education system and part of integrated early childhood education. At the same time, the analysis also shows that the changes in the field of early childhood education in our country are moving towards greater efficiency and professionalism, i.e. towards professionalisation.
