SYNTHESIS AND PROPERTIES OF SPINEL FERRITE ZnFe2O4 AS A CATHODE MATERIAL WITH Zn2+-ION CONDUCTIVITY
Spinel ferrite ZnFe2O4 is formed at T ≥ 800 °C by solid-phase interaction. The parameters of the unit cell of the crystal lattice have been determined. Using a geometric-topological method, it was established that in the crystal structure of zinc ferrite there are 3D conduction channels for the Zn cation. Increasing the synthesis temperature leads to a 4-fold increase in electrical conductivity. The values of specific electronic, ionic, and grain-boundary electrical conductivity were determined.
