KINETICS OF SORPTION OF ARSENIC AND ANTIMONY IONS BY MODIFIED MONTMORILLONITE

The kinetics of sorption of As (III) and Sb (III) ions by modified montmorillonite was studied. The use of chemical kinetics models showed that the stage of chemical interaction of As (III) and Sb (III) ions with the functional groups of the modified aluminosilicate contributes to the overall rate of the process.

Abstract

The kinetics of sorption of As (III) and Sb (III) ions by modified montmorillonite was studied. The use of chemical kinetics models showed that the stage of chemical interaction of As (III) and Sb (III) ions with the functional groups of the modified aluminosilicate contributes to the overall rate of the process.
