MODIFICATION OF THE METHOD FOR DETERMINING THE TOTAL CARBOHYDRATE CONTENT WITH AN ANTRON REAGENT
The paper presents the results of determining the shelf life of an antron reagent and an aqueous glucose solution. It was found that the shelf life of the anthron reagent is 7 days, the aqueous glucose solution is no more than 7 days with a holding period of at least 2 days. The data obtained can be used to more accurately determine the total carbohydrate content in plant extracts and applied in the food and pharmaceutical industries.
