SYNTHESIS AND INVESTIGATION OF PHASE FORMATION PROCESSES, PHYSICO-CHEMICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES IN THE SrO-Al2O3-SiO2 SYSTEM

In the SrO-Al2O3-SiO2 system, 5 samples were synthesized by solid-phase synthesis. The degree of interaction of the initial reagents in the synthesis process was controlled using X-ray phase analysis on a DRON-3M diffractometer using CuKa radiation. The crystal phases were identified using the PDF-2 powder diffractometry database. The following crystalline phases were identified in the samples: SrAl2Si2O8; Sr2Al2SiO7; SrAl2O4; Sr2SiO4; SrSiO3; Sr6Al18Si2O37. The results of a study of the physico-chemical and mechanical properties of samples synthesized in the SrO-Al2O3-SiO2 system are presented. The temperature coefficients of linear expansion, values of densities, melting temperatures, and Young's modulus are determined. The obtained characteristics of ceramic samples make them promising for aerospace engineering and electronics.
