OBTAINING QUARTZ CERAMICS USING ELECTROPHORETIC MOLDING METHOD

The results of defect-free electrophoretic molding of a thick-walled workpiece with specified size characteristics are presented. The effectiveness of the accelerated method in comparison with classical slip casting is shown. Molding parameters were determined using electrophoresis. Equal density of the samples in their volume, associated with a uniform distribution of particles, has been achieved.

Abstract

The results of defect-free electrophoretic molding of a thick-walled workpiece with specified size characteristics are presented. The effectiveness of the accelerated method in comparison with classical slip casting is shown. Molding parameters were determined using electrophoresis. Equal density of the samples in their volume, associated with a uniform distribution of particles, has been achieved.
