OBTAINING HYBRID POLYMER MATRIXES FOR THE CREATION OF ANTIFOULING COATINGS AND STUDYING THEIR PHYSICAL AND MECHANICAL PROPERTIES
Polymer compositions have been developed based on acrylate and epoxy resins, rosin, polyurethane binders, etc., as well as the organic base of PK-Marine enamel with the addition of metal nanoparticles and their oxides to create anti-fouling coatings for ships, vessels and hydraulic structures. Studies of the physical and mechanical properties of the resulting coatings were carried out, namely, friction coefficients were obtained as a stage in a general study of the effectiveness of the compositions. The results of the obtained static and dynamic coefficients of friction of the samples are presented, showing that compositions with the addition of nanoparticles can be competitive in comparison with commercial antifouling paints already successfully used.
