MEMBRANE-ASSISTED GAS ABSORPTION METHOD FOR THE REMOVAL AND CAPTURE OF ACID GASES

This study is devoted to the creation of absorbent solutions and their use in the proposed membrane-assisted gas absorption separation technology in order to increase the efficiency of acid gas removal and reduce hydrocarbon losses. Acid gas absorbents based on aqueous solutions of methyldiethanolamine containing a new ionic liquid [N1,1,2OH,2OH][Gly] have been proposed and studied. The efficiency of the process was studied using the example of an 8-component gas mixture. The final efficiency of the studied system with the new absorbent was up to 99 % in removing acid gases with hydrocarbon losses of up to 1 % at maximum productivity.
