COMPOSITION AND STRUCTURE OF A “THIRD PHASE” AT EXTRACTION PROCESSES OF JSC “KOLA MMC”
The paper is devoted to the study of the phase and chemical composition of the “third phase” of the extraction stages of Kola MMC JSC. It has been shown that the “third phase” can be divided into 3 main components: an aqueous solution, which is chemically similar to the feed solution entering the extraction; organic phase containing non-ferrous metals; and a solid phase that has adsorbed the extractant, non-ferrous and noble metals. When analyzing the solid phase, it was established that its basis is microdispersed silicon dioxide found in the feed solutions supplied for extraction.
