Slovenská terminológia štruktúr vrásovo-násunových pásiem

The paper summarizes the basic Slovak terminology of the fold and thrust belts and proposes the usage and form of some new terms. In the introductory part, the term fold and thrust belts itself, and its usage in foreign literature is discussed, with original English texts quoted. The second part of the article contains a short glossary of terms with illustrations. The paper does not give an exhaustive overview of all the structures discussed. Those interested in this issue are recommended to study selected works from the cited literature.
