The Main Integration Directions of Medical Care for the Population with Malignant Neoplasms at the Level of Primary Health Care

The objective: to develop conceptual approaches to the integration of medical care for the population with malignant neoplasms (MN) at the primary health care level. Materials and methods. The materials of the study were the current legislative acts of Ukraine on the organization of specialized oncological and primary health care (PHC) for the population and the results of previous own research. The following methods were used in the research: bibliosemantic, structural-logical analysis, modeling. The methodological basis of the study was a systems approach. Results. Conceptual approaches to the integration of medical care for the population with MN at the PHC level were developed. The cluster model of providing comprehensive medical care for the population with malignant neoplasms includes: 1) increasing the professional level of medical specialists, 2) optimizing the provision of medical supplies, 3) a complex of preventive, psychological, diagnostic, palliative and curative medical care, 4) communication with the population. The stages of integration of medical care for the oncological pathologies at the primary level and the terms, which are determined by the level of readiness of the primary care to provide preventive and medical services, are demonstrated. Conclusions. The proposed conceptual approaches will contribute to increasing the accessibility and effectiveness of medical care to the population for malignant neoplasms.
