Distribution Pattern of Total Suspended Solid From 2016 To 2024 At Estuary of The Barito River South Kalimantan
Abstract This research focuses on Total Suspended Solid (TSS) from 2016 to 2024 at the Barito estuary. The objective of this research is to determine the distribution pattern of suspended solids in the Barito Estuary during low tide, with the highest TSS concentration in that year, using Sentinel-2 satellite imagery as the basis for an 8-year study. Sentinel-2 satellite imagery can observe the concentration and distribution of TSS in this study through visible and infrared channels. The distribution of TSS will be determined using an algorithm that employs blue and green bands with an atmospherically corrected reflectance format. Based on the data processing results, there is an increase in TSS values during that period, so it can be concluded that at the field coordinates, TSS values are increasing due to suspected land clearing.
