Facile Synthesis of Fe0.64Ni0.36/NiFe2O4/CeO2‐Codoped Bamboo Powders‐Derived Porous Carbon Composites with Optimized Impedance Matching for Enhanced Microwave Absorption Performance

Utilizing biomass‐derived porous carbon with dielectric and magnetic materials efficiently produces lightweight, wideband microwave absorption (MA) materials. Porous carbon (PC) generated from KOH‐activated bamboo powders is used as the matrix in this work to effectively manufacture Fe 0.64 Ni 0.36 /NiFe 2 O 4 /CeO 2 @PC composites utilizing urea‐assisted hydrothermal and pyrolysis techniques. The impedance matching of the composites is adjusted by adjusting the heat treatment temperatures and magnetism component modulation. The excellent MA performance of NF‐800/CeO 2 @PC composites is primarily due to the combined effects of dielectric and magnetic losses. The results show that the NF‐800/CeO 2 @PC has a minimum reflection loss (RL min ) of −50.40 dB at a matching thickness of 2.0 mm (13.60 GHz) and an effective absorption bandwidth of 5.04 GHz at 1.8 mm. The modeling results of radar cross section (RCS) demonstrate that when the scattering angle is 0°, NF‐800/CeO 2 @PC has the highest RCS reduction capacity compared to the perfect electric conductor, with an RCS reduction of 26.99 dB m 2 . This work has the potential to serve as a model for the development of lightweight, broadband, and strong electromagnetic wave (EMW) absorption materials.
