Entropy generation analysis of mixed convective Eyring–Powell nanofluid flow with Hall and ion slip effects

Abstract The goal of this analysis is to demonstrate how thermophoresis, Brownian motion parameters, and second‐law analysis behave when examining the movement of Eyring–Powell nanofluid flow confined between two plates that are separated by a common height. At the boundaries, different values of concentration and temperature are employed, and these values are fixed by a particular value. It should be mentioned that the top and lower plates periodically have fluids injected and removed from them. By applying similarity transformations, the governing partial differential equations were transformed into a system of ordinary differential equations. Using well‐known fourth‐order Runge–Kutta scheme, the problem's solution was found. An examination through graphs of the non‐dimensionless profiles of heat, mass, velocity, entropy generation and Bejan numbers is carried out to look into the impact of various geometrical and fluid parameters. Heat, mass transfer rates, and the non‐dimensional skin friction coefficient are computed and displayed as tables. The current results are compared with existing results for viscous case and have found to be better agreement.
