Abstract IA012: Panel Discussion 1: Regulatory and Non-Regulatory Challenges to the Wide Adoption of Precision Diagnostics
Abstract While in recent years, genomic and functional precision medicine have overcome many technical and scientific challenges, widespread adoption is often limited by factors that go well beyond the laboratory or clinic. In this session, the panel will discuss important practical and logistical challenges that continue to limit patient access to precision medicine tools in cancer. Topics will include governmental regulation, reimbursement, tissue custody, and awareness. Citation Format: Anthony Letai.
