Thin and low power 2D backlight module development with white mini‐LEDs

Abstract In general, blue LEDs have been used for mini‐LED 2D Backlights. However, we have selected to utilize white mini‐LEDs and applied our innovative design concept, named Multi‐Luminous Structure. This approach has resulted in lower power consumption and a thinner module with 1 LED per zone, making it suitable for mobile products.
