Economic evaluation of guava (Psidium guajava) and turmeric (Curcuma longa L.) In different treatments of fertilizer and organic manures under Casuarina equisetifolia based agri-silvi-horti system in sodic soil

A field experiment was conducted from 2021 to 2023 at the Agroforestry Research Farm, Acharya Narendra Deva University of Agriculture and Technology, located in Kumarganj, Ayodhya (U.P). The experimental site lies at a latitude of 26°27' N and longitude of 82°12' E, approximately 42 km from Ayodhya, with an elevation of 113 meters above sea level. The experiment was set up using a Randomized Block Design (RBD) with three replications and nine treatment combinations, including T1 (control), T2, T3, T4, T5, T6, T7, T8, and T9. Among all the treatment combinations, the highest net returns of Rs 2,28,259 per hectare were recorded in both years for T2, which involved the recommended dose of NPK – 120 kg N, 80 kg P2O5, and 80 kg K2O per hectare. This same treatment also resulted in the highest benefit-cost ratio of 2.50.
