Predictors and Outcomes of Conversion from Laparoscopic to Open Cholecystectomy
Background: Laparoscopic cholecystectomy is the gold standard for treating gallbladder diseases. However, certain cases require conversion to open cholecystectomy due to intraoperative challenges. Understanding the predictors and outcomes of such conversions is crucial for optimizing surgical strategies and patient outcomes. Aim: This study aimed to identify predictors associated with the conversion from laparoscopic to open cholecystectomy and evaluate the outcomes of these conversions.
