A.S. KHOMYAKOV’S THEOLOGICAL IDEAS IN THE CONTEXT OF RELIGIOUS AND ETHICAL ONTOLOGISM

The article considers Khomyakov's theological ideas in the axiological context of religious and ethical ontologism. In modern society, value transformations of religious consciousness are becoming increasingly important, forming the phenomenon of "religious and ethical axiology" as an essential part of spirituality and worldview. The peculiarity of religious axiology is that it includes religious values in the structure of the worldview, integrating religious principles of doctrine into a complex of cultural values. At the same time, ethical ontologism, interpreted in an axiological way, complements religious dogma to a greater or lesser extent. The essence of ethical ontologism is in the substantiation of moral values not simply as regulatory norms and requirements, but as a "living ontological essence of the world" (S. L. Frank), in its universally transforming meaning. One of the most typical examples of this kind of worldview constructions is the theological thought of A. S. Khomyakov, largely based on a value-orienteded, religious and ethical interpretation of theological ideas. Such ideas include the position on the "imperfection and sinfulness of human nature" as the basis of conciliarity; the idea of the primacy of faith as a value paradigm of knowledge; understanding the essence of Christian Revelation as the highest moral value; the idea of the Church as a "spiritual organon" for comprehending Divine truth.
