ETHICAL AND LEGAL LIMITATIONS OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MODERN SOCIETY

The purpose of the article is to investigate the ethical and legal limitations of artificial intelligence in modern society. The novelty of the article is that it is necessary to show that artificial intelligence as a self-developing system can get out of human control and then begin to pose a danger to society. Artificial intelligence (AI) is one of the most controversial phenomena associated with the development of digitalization processes in the modern world. People in the modern world, on the one hand, constantly deal with such manifestations as applications in smartphones; making medical diagnoses; facial, text, image recognition; smart house, voice assistants. Artificial intelligence nowadays interests people from all sorts of professions: philosophers and programmers, religious figures, politicians and housewives. On the other hand, there are ethical problems associated with the development and operation of intelligent computer systems that remain unresolved and disturbing to humanity. As a result, the author shows that a person should develop spiritual and moral qualities, be above AI and be responsible for everything that happens in this world. It is necessary to develop an ethical system in which the main thing is the problem of good and evil, the meaning of life, the happiness of mankind. It is also necessary to overcome egocentrism (my good must connect with the good of other people). Such ethics will express mercy, justice, friendship and keep the peace on earth.
