The main contraindications and limitations to the appointment of physiotherapy methods of treatment

Abstract. The purpose of the work is to summarize the available information on the main contraindications and limitations to physiotherapy treatment in outpatient clinics and in a 24‑hour hospital. A literature review on this topic and an analysis of the main domestic sources on the specialty «physiotherapy» have been conducted. The paper presents general contraindications for the appointment of physiotherapeutic factors and restrictions on the appointment of individual physical factors, as well as clinical recommendations that must be followed when prescribing certain types of physiotherapeutic treatment. Conclusions. 1)Knowledge of the necessary conditions for prescribing physiotherapeutic treatment (FTL) will allow specialist doctors of related specialties to avoid complications and side effects if individual physical factors are incorrectly prescribed, as well as when prescribing complex physiotherapeutic treatment with combined or combined exposure to several physical factors. 2) Knowledge of the main contraindications for physiotherapy treatment will allow specialist doctors of related specialties to substantiate the rejection of physiotherapy treatment. 3) Knowledge of the basic conditions for prescribing individual physical factors will allow specialist doctors (internists, dermatovenerologists, gynecologists, surgeons, etc.) to prescribe clinical and instrumental follow-up examinations for FTL, as well as prescribe additional consultations for related specialist doctors (ophthalmologist, infectious disease specialist, internist, gynecologist, etc.).
