El papel de la epistemología en la socialización docente

Abstract This opinion article exposes the importance of teacher socialization within the classroom based on the environment that surrounds them. Sociability is important to build knowledge together, to encourage dialogue or develop pedagogical actions that can be shared with others. Teachers are born in conversations and in sharing every day with their students. At the same time, they have a great responsibility, since as a mediator, the information they compare must be as close to social reality, in which every word can be defended with solid arguments to avoid falling into misinformation. In some circumstances the student community gets carried away by social networks, or on internet platforms where they can be seen or heard; without taking into account that not everything shown on the other side of the screens is true. The people who transmit do not always have the valid arguments that support their speech. Therefore, to date, teachers are considered a reliable source of information. Keywords: Epistemology, socialization, listening, learning, sharing.
