Resilience enhancement for coastal power systems via typhoon response plans
Formulating typhoon response plans and effectively implementing them can improve the resilience of coastal power systems. This type of plan mainly includes line hardening and unit dispatching. Initially, main typhoon scenarios are determined based on historical data, and the line failure conditions are simulated. Furthermore, a unit commitment and power flow optimization model is established to determine the optimal line hardening and unit dispatch instructions. During real-time typhoon events, the intensity and path may deviate from the main scenarios, necessitating flexible execution. Therefore, a similarity mechanism and a multi-stage execution method are established to ensure that the plan’s execution maximizes its benefits. A case study validates the effectiveness of the proposed response plan construction and execution method.
