Changes at HHS include internal fights, employee fears

The Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) is still there – barely. Ever since Robert F Kennedy, Jr. was confirmed Secretary, it's hard to tell what it's doing. The parent department of the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration, the National Institute on Drug Abuse, the National Institute on Alcohol Abuse and Alcoholism, and many other agencies focused on public health, appears to be falling apart.
