HUBUNGAN JENIS TERAPI OBAT HIPERTENSI TERHADAP TEKANAN DARAH PADA HIPERTENSI DI PUSKESMAS WELAHAN I
: An international health problem is hypertension, a leading cause of kidney failure, stroke and heart disease. An estimated 34.1% of people in Indonesia suffer from hypertension, and most of them do not receive treatment. Although Puskesmas Welahan 1 treats hypertension, patients often have difficulty controlling their blood pressure due to the wide variety of drugs available. The aim of this study was to determine how effective monotherapy and combination therapy are for achieving blood pressure targets of hypertensive patients at Puskesmas Welahan 1 and how various drugs affect blood pressure control. Data from 60 hypertensive patients who met the inclusion criteria were analyzed for three months using a cross-sectional approach. Inferential and descriptive statistics, such as regression and chi-square tests, were used. There was no significant correlation between systolic and diastolic blood pressure control and type of drug therapy (p > 0.05). However, patients receiving amlodipine or amlodipine + captopril were better able to control their blood pressure, with likelihood ratios of 0.857 for systolic pressure and 6.429 for diastolic pressure, respectively. The results suggest that combination therapy might help control diastolic blood pressure, although the type of drug does not affect blood pressure directly.
