APPLICATION OF CARBON FIBER CATALYST AS A FILLER FOR EPOXY RESIN
The paper presents a comparison of mechanical properties of polymers based on epoxy resin mixed with various fillers, including fillers made from carbon fiber catalysts. The experiments were conducted using an industrially produced carbon fiber veil with an applied active phase of iron and copper, studied as a carbon fiber catalyst for organic synthesis reactions. The main attention was paid to comparing samples of epoxy mixtures with a carbon fiber catalyst as a filler with other fillers of various origins, both industrially used and fillers of plant and biological origin.
