Studying the influence of an immunomodulator based on placenta and sodium nucleinate on the growth rate of juvenile sterlet
This article discusses the problems associated with the reproduction and cultivation of valuable commercial fish, and proposes modern approaches to improving the viability of juveniles, in particular, sturgeon species. The main idea of the article is the need to introduce effective aquaculture technologies to improve the quality and survival of fish, which is a response to the reduction of natural spawning grounds and a decrease in the number of mature producers. The article highlights several key aspects that determine the success of the reproduction process. Firstly, the importance of vitamins and biologically active substances (BAS) for normalizing metabolism in fish is indicated. A deficiency of these components can lead to the appearance of vitamin deficiencies, which in turn affects the growth and health of fish. Secondly, attention is focused on the use of immunostimulants, which help strengthen the immune status of juveniles, minimizing the negative impact of stress factors. It has been proven that a complex immunostimulating preparation based on placenta, containing vitamins and amino acids, is particularly effective, increasing the viability and resistance of offspring to toxicants. The context of the study is related to current problems of aquaculture, including the search for solutions to increase the productivity of fish stocks in conditions where natural resources are depleted. The results of the study showed that the use of the proposed preparation helps to improve the physiological condition of sterlet, and also affects the linear growth and survival of juveniles. The authors emphasize that the use of the listed methods and preparations requires further study, but can already be recommended for use in enterprises engaged in the reproduction of valuable fish species. The results can serve as a basis for the development of new standards in the field of aquaculture in order to improve fish health and effective reproduction.
