Water henna leaf extract was made using the maceration method, then tested for phytochemical screening, a lip balm preparation was made with FI (9%), FII (12%), FIII (15%) and the preparation was evaluated. Henna leaf extract (Impatiens balsamina L.) contains alkaloids, flavonoids, tannins and saponins. The best formula results were formula III with a brownish green color preparation, the preparation was homogeneous, pH 4.03, adhesion power of 4 minutes 21 seconds and spreadability of 5 cm. From the research results it can be concluded that water henna leaf extract (Impatiens balsamina L.) can be used as a natural coloring in lip balm preparations and formula III is the best formula.
