Challenges in Pediatric Facial Laceration Management Amid the Health Care Crisis in South Korea
Pediatric facial laceration management in South Korea faces significant systemic and financial barriers, compounded by workforce shortages and political instability. Addressing these challenges requires reforms in reimbursement policies, structured training programs for general practitioners and emergency physicians, and evidence-based workforce planning. These findings provide actionable insights to improve pediatric emergency care in South Korea and offer lessons for other nations confronting similar health care challenges.
