Welcome to the last issue of AI Matters Newsletter in 2024! This issue features a collection of "blue sky" essays by the awardees of the 2024 AAAI/ACM SIGAI New and Future AI Educator (NFAIED) Program. This program was hosted in the 14th Symposium on Educational Advances in Artificial Intelligence (EAAI-24), cochaired by Dr. Marion Neumann and Dr. Stephanie Rosenthal, aiming to support the training of early-career university faculty, secondary school faculty, and future educators (PhD candidates or postdocs who intend a career in academia). This paper will be followed by the regular conference report by Dr. Louise Dennis.
