Design and Implementation of a Novel Mechanism for Introducing Static Eccentricity to a DFIM
This paper presents a novel approach to introducing non-uniform static eccentricity to a Doubly Fed Induction Machine (DFIM) without the need for machine disassembly, enabling flexible and continuous adjustment of the eccentricity fault. This method could be applied to various types of radial flux machines, enhancing experimental convenience and safety compared to traditional techniques. Subsequently, an experiment was conducted to verify the simulation results of the mechanism's performance, further validating its efficacy.
